After receiving he J.D. Eric Dickman continued his education and received an LL.M. (a Master of Laws) in Law and Marine Affairs.
Since 1985, Eric Dickman has successfully practiced law in Washington, Alaska, Oregon, and New York. Throughout his career, Mr. Dickman has focused on maritime law and mediation. He started his career in a maritime insurance defense firm, where he learned firsthand how maritime insurance companies think. After a few years, he underwent an epiphany. He switched sides and has successfully represented seaman plaintiffs ever since.
Eric Dickman has already helped countless injured people deal with the aftermath of being injured. He has helped those responsible for injuries to others meet their obligations under the law, even when they were not willing at first to accept responsibility.
